PhD ABB

 A little academic humor here. A doctoral student will talk about completing the degree ABD (All but disseration. ) I've got a similar thing going here with four PhDs, ABB (All but binding.) They're quilted and squared, but not bound. These aren't exactly the same four I hoped to complete, but four quilts is four quilts. I hope to get a good start on these tonight and finish up one or two by the end of June.

I'm hoping to finish (aka baste,machine quilt and bind) four projects.

this is my oldest PhD, dating back three years. I have a backing for it, a new machine that quilts beautifully, and a deadline, so this one is first in line.

This one is nearly as old. It has lots of fiddly details, so I'm going to practice on a few other quilts before I attempt to machine quilt this one. But it has to be done soon!

This top is also three years old. Time for it to be done!

This is a hand quilting project. It needs basting, but I'm hoping to keep stitching at it all winter.
