A FiNaL FiNisH

WooHoo... I've finished my LAST PhD... and just in time too. I had forgotten to post a pic of "Family Matters" until I read Myra's last post... so here it is.
It was originally going to be a wall hanging... but I changed it to a lap quilt as I thought it would get better use that way. The original block that I showed was the one in the bottom left corner. I added the "hearts" after I joined into the PhD group. I'm really happy I did change the plan because it turned out really well... (I think it did anyways) and I hope the recipient will too!

My FiRsT PhD.

Yes I finished my first...
Now I know some of you other wonderful quilters are onto their second and more but at least I crossed the hardest (#1 always seems the hardest anyway) off my PhD list...
so I'm HaPPy!

ChERyLL's Challenge

I have nominated 3 projects that I would like am going to finish before the June 30 deadline.....as I have had 2 of them for a l o n g time!

Project #1 ... not named yet...is a stained glass window that I cut out for last christmas but just didn't get to actually do it...so that's gonna be first!

Project #2 ... is another Christmas runner that should have been finished this Christmas.... oops ! All cut out but with nowhere to go...errrr

Project #3... is a wall hanging for a friends birthday this year...but is now planned for her next birthday.... in November.. so I should make that date... fingers crossed!

AND I added project #4 ... just in case I go really well and actually finish the previous 3 projects and am looking for something to do.... as if that will EvEr happen...but I'm hopeful?!?!
