My PHd's

Ok, I admit it... I got into a slump and only finished 4 but that's what my first goal was but wanted to do more.. the last one I changed the PHD ..sorry....finding it hard now since summer is here... We go to the camp quite a lot and in between house work , gardening and being a Grandma with 4 sweet boys and now granddaughter and grandson from Calgary coming for 5 weeks , well...things will just have to be on hold for a bit... that's my story and I'm sticking to it...I see a lot of great finished projects..wow... **pat, pat** for all you wonderful quilters....I will keep checking in when I'm home since we don't have internet out in the bush...Happy Summer ...and Happy Stitching..here is the 4th...

Ok...finally worked on another PHD.. completed #2... and see how cute, if I do say so myself.... only 4 more to go..this was a fun one to make... the appliques are from Debbie Field's "Table Topper" book and is a table runner.. I machined appliqued and machined quilted...click to see closer ....

WOW...I have quite a few of them , but I'm going to go for 4 for sure...then if I do more ..... BONUS for mois...lol...anyhoot...here they are ...


First off need this one asap...this was supposed to get to Calgary, Alberta to daughter and hubby for Christmas ..... but chaos occurred here and got put off a little...she is a great understanding sweetie...so...needing to bind this one, it was a mystery quilt from a local shop that I love to go to......

Now for the others, I'm not sure what order I will do them in, but will finish off ..this one called "A walk in the Mountains by Piece O' Cake Designs. I hand appliqued did this top about 5 years ago...sheesh...need to finish before the fabric rots LOLOL...just kidding...

A table runner I got the applique's from Spirit of the North book..by Debbie Field....

And Sweet Dream, blocks are done , need to piece the blocks together, then rows etc....all made with batiks,,,try to figure out where I purchased so I can get extra to us as borders, if no then the salmon colored will have to do lol...
