Finally A Finish

I took this quilt to my quilt retreat. I had a few blocks done. I knew the uninterrupted sewing time was what I needed to get the top done. I needed to get it done soon because my niece that it is for was due to arrive the following week.
I pieced the back and got it basted yesterday. She arrived 3:00 this morning so I spent the day quilting and binding it. I'll deliver it to the new bundle of joy this evening. Oh happy day a new baby and a finished quilt.

Two down two to go. For Myra's motivating challenge.

That is so bright and cheerful! I love it. And the black pinwheels and stars really set it off. Great job. Congrats on the quilt and on the new niece.

And it's gorgeous. And since you finished it on the atcual day of her birth it'll come with an even better story to tell as she gets older.

Congratulations! (on both accounts -finishing the quilt and becoming an aunty!)
