It’s Done!

I finished Row by Row yesterday:004
Grizz held it up for me – and Sadie inspected.  This has been a wonderful project, with many different techniques from the wonky stars, to 3D log cabins, to paper piecing, to reverse applique.  I certainly learned lots – biggest lesson of all: I could really use a long-arm machine!!!
Project # 1, finish # 4/6
My projects are winding down –  2 more to go to finish the challenge:
Pumpkins and Spice is coming along – doing this one ‘together’ with Jo at Pieceful Afternoon, and posting our progress here.  These are the completed blocks, on my wall approximately where they fit into the pattern.
005
Once a week, we ‘chat’ and decide what blocks to do for the week.  There’s probably 3-4 weeks to go yet.
My last project is the sampler of Earlene Fowler title blocks (if you haven’t read her books, they’re just plain fun!).  I’m at a stand still there, because I haven’t found just the right fabric for the sashing – this has been tough!
I must say that I’m going to miss this challenge when it’s finished – hope there’ll be another next year!
Happy challenges!           Blessings, Peg
