I'm doing my happy dance!

Hello everyone!  Oh yeah, I'm happy to say I've finally finished one of my PhD's...woohoo!  It is such an inspiration to see all of the wonderful quilts posted here, all the works in progress and the finishes...you're awesome people, just awesome!! :-)


Here's my first quilt done, not a big one, but it seemed to take forever...you know how that goes. ;-)

A close-up of the three painted blocks, made by some of the girls in my daughter's girl guide troupe.

I just used the backing as the binding.

This quilt is being donated to Victoria's Quilts here in Calgary, a charity that gives quilts to cancer patients.

Good for you Mary!!! Feels great to get things done, especially when it has been sitting there patiently waiting for your attention!!!
