Little Windows is Finished!
I'm so pleased with how this turned out. I used straight line quilting across all the blocks and free-motion leaves meandering over the outer border. The back is pieced with some of the fabric from the front plus a darker purple at the top and bottom edges. I'm also working on piecing another of my PHDs and hope to soon begin the quilting. I've posted a couple of pictures of the blocks in progress on my blog. And an important thing learned! Quilting on batiks works so much better with a smaller needle. I didn't learn this until I was almost finished the quilting but I'll remember it for next time. Cheers!
