Because the borders and backings are different on each quilt, I also quilted them using different patterns.
I finally finished the binding on this large quilt. This quilt was sent off to a long-arm to be quilted with an overall pattern. (As you can see for the picture below it is very windy, very hot, and very humid here today. My fingers are sticking to the keyboard...yuk!)
My last finish is this large bag which already comes in handy as my library book bag.
I truthfully would not have finished these items by now. I have three more projects staring me in the face and will commit to myself to finish them over the summer so I can start anew in the Fall. Right now my quilting time is competing with yard play/work and summer reading. After all, Summer is a time to relax one's expectations, don't you think?!
It has been great fun to see everyones' creative talent and I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyones' comments.
Have a Great Summer !!!

Congratulations on the finishes!
Jane your quilts are lovely, as is your bag - congratulations on getting them done! Your goal of 3 finishes over the summer seems doable - good luck! My PhD's would still be sitting in the cabinet if it weren't for Myra's inspiration so I'm very happy with this whole challenge!
Yahoo good for you friend!!! Way to go Jane!! You got lots done!!!
Congrats on your finishes here! They all look great!!! Those two will look great on the bunkbeds!!!
Hmmmm... Perhaps we should have you make quilts for the bunkbeds at our retreat house!!! lol!!! 8-)
Missed you last night at the club, and hope to see you soon!!
Jane,
The bag you made is stunning. Is there a pattern available for purchase somewhere?
