Annie's PhD Challenge

Hello Everyone,

I'm tickled to be able to join the group. As NanaB said in a previous post, it is indeed a "great way to stay accountable." Between working full-time and going to grad school it can be difficult to find time to work on projects. Being part of a creative group helps to keep me motivated! And there are some wonderful looking projects shown here. I look forward to seeing them evolve as the months progress.

I've put four projects on my to-do list. The first is to finish a Quilt-Along quilt that I started a few months ago. I managed to meet the piecing due date for that challenge but am still working on the quilting.

My second project is to finish a charity quilt that I started some time ago but stashed in the closet to work on other things. Time to move it along!

I also want to complete this wall hanging. If I can part with it (I really, really like this fabric!), it might make a great gift for next Christmas. I've got all the patches cut out . . .

And, finally, I want to finish the pattern I'm designing for these fabrics from the Stonehenge collection:

With luck I may even get it cut and ready to sew. (Keep your fingers crossed!)

Happy New Year Everyone!

Annie
(My nickname - you'll see me listed as Anita/KeevaTales in the sidebar.)

Love your quilt along project and am curious to see how your design comes out for your Stonehenge fabrics.

Working and graduate school and you still manage to find some time to quilt! When do you sleep?

And I love your projects!!! the one you are quilting looks fantastic!!!! Your charity quilt will be a nice project to donate, I am glad it's out of the closet so it can find it's forever home!!!
And why can't the third project be your very own special gift next Christmas????

We are all going to have fun with our UFO's!! Doing them, sharing them and getting the support from this fabulous group!!! it's going to be a fantastic year - it sure is starting that way!!!
So, Annie - here is to getting these things done!!!
