Checking in....

This is the first time I've joined a challenge other than mine. So I'm in new territory here. I have a hard time deciding before hand what I will work on..but I'm trying.I'm sure I want to finish up this one. There isn't a reason it's unfinished except I didn't press as I sewed the rows together and we know what kind of disaster that creates. It needs that good pressing and a border and backing. I'm not sure if I will hand quilt it or not, but it's on my PhD list!

And I want(and need) to finish this one. I'd hate to tell you how very "tardy" this one is in arriving at it's new owners house. I had thought I could finish it during my NYE UFO challenge, but once again, it did me in. Time to get over that and get it done. I'm working on this one first in the New Year!
As for the other 4 I have pledged to finish, please bear with me. I'll decide soon, I promise! Or at least, I'll try.

Hi Finn, this is my first quilting challenge and in fact my first quilt. Started months ago when I bought a new sewing machine, but Christmas projects came along and after the holiday, the quilt is again at the forefront. Good luck to you and Christmas blessings.

Love your quilts, and I'm sure you're up to the challenge! I've signed up for 2, and hope I can really do it.

Wonderful quilts Finn. I've done some monthly UFO challenges and they were fun. Looking forward to seeing the other four projects!

Wow - fantastic colours in both those quilts and such intricate designs . I can completely relate to the not pressing dilemma. I did a rubbishy job of sewing seams on one of my PhD's...henceforth the reason it remains unfinished.

Looking forward to getting to know you Finn and seeing the rest of your projects.
