Hello, fellow PhD-ers! It's P. (as in Paulette) from The Way I Sew It, and hoo boy, do I need this challenge! I knew I had 5 (actually 6) projects needing completion, but in looking back through my computer files for photos last night, it was rather embarrassing to see just how far back they went. But that's why we're all here, right?
So here they are, in the order of most recent to oldest:
1. Doll Quilt. Needs the quilting finished and binding. I'll probably start with this one, since it's the easiest. The path of least resistance, as they say!
2. Whirlygig Christmas Quilt. This is the biggest quilt I've ever attempted to finish myself. Eek! Needs the backing finished with some appliques, basting, quilting, and binding.
3. Wave Runner Quilt. The top has been done since early June. Needs quilting and binding.
4. Attic Windows Wall Hanging (optional). Needs quilting and binding. This is the extra project, so it may or may not get done in this challenge.
5. Climbing Lanterns Quilt. This is actually going to be a wall hanging (it's 48 x 48). Need to make the rest of the puffy Chinese lanterns, do the machine appliqueing (the branches are just fused on right now), then quilting and binding.
6. Veggies Wall Hanging. This needs quilting, binding, and a hanging sleeve. It's for my sister and I've had the top put together and the backing done since June 2009 (*red face*). She would really like to hang it in her kitchen or office. The veggies were nicely cross-stitched by someone else, but I don't know who, because I bought the pieces in frames at the thrift store for 99 cents each! There are actually five of them, but this photo only shows three.
So there you have my ambitious and slightly scary (to me) list. Wish me luck! I wish you all the same!

You're embarrassed about a project from 2009? Try one from 1995! :-)
man, I have one from 05! but I knew it was one that would be back burnerd for a while. I had JUST started quilting then and went on a shop hop. I have over 1/2 the blocks done but some are still too technical for my skills.
Your chosen projects are lovely P...don't be afraid. Just and we'll do it! There's nothing like company in our misery to make things move along and not seem so terrible. I'm the same land of "oppps" as Michelle, with stuff from the 1990's or older. Just call me Miss Procrastination! I'll you Miss P. Hugs, Finn
Great projects Paulette! Love your bright colors. Good luck with getting them done. Even if I don't get my challenge list done, I'll feel better with whatever progress I make, plus I'm hoping to meet some new web friends. So it's all good!
P., beautiful projects, all of them. You'll do great! Best of luck!
