It's that time of year to start thinking about all the things that you want to accomplish for next year. I have 4 things that I want to make sure I finish.
1. RRCB - so many pieces, I love little tiny pieces in a quilt. I've been able to keep up so far and want to make sure I have this one done by June. No idea what it will look like, but certain it will be fabulous. Here's a few pics of the different pieces. This was my very first mystery quilt and what a mystery it is!!
2. Baby Quilt - I just got EQ7 this fall and have created so many quilts on the computer. This is the first one that I actually turned bits and bytes into a quilt. It's been done for a while and the baby is due in late Jan so I really need to get this one done first. Just need to get it quilted and I'm done.
3. Hugs and Kisses - I just finished the border today. The dog ate my husbands quilt so he needs a replacement. I thought a quilt that is called hugs and kisses was very appropriate!! It's a temporary quilt, I have a more detailed quilt planned but that won't be done until second half of 2010, so need to get this one done. This was my second mystery quilt, much simpler than my first!
4. My Balitmore Album quilt - the grand daddy of them all. I estimated this to be a 3 year project. 2011 will be year 3. I really want to have this one done by June. I'm further along than the picture - I have 2 sides of the border done, but it's packed away right now. I'm just having too much fun with the smaller projects and holiday sewing. But the new year means it's time to get back to that serious sewing.
5. In case one of the above falls through and doesn't make it, I also have the snowman quilt that I also just finished the last border on it. My sister was out for the holidays and she helped me to complete both the snowman quilt and the hugs and kisses. I really would like to be able to finish the snowman quilt before all the snow melts.....but you know how it it sometimes.
Well that should keep me busy for a while!! I love seeing all the things that people have in progress it's really inspiring!

the hugs and kisses quilt caught my eye from across the room (I openend the link to your post and then had to go re-tuck in the older should-be-sleeping-beauty) how wonderful! I love blue and yellow together!
I also LOVE those snowmen! I love that it's not screaming "christmas" either, I really need some cheerful winter quilts around here to put up once Christmas is over...where did you get the pattern?
All are great quilts, and I have enjoyed watching the Bonnie's mystery quilt unfold. I am not starting that one yet, though I am saving the steps.
I love the snowman quilt too, especially the very colorful squares sashings.
blessings,
jilly
so many colors! and tops or almost tops. Looking forward to seeing the finished projects! That snowman quilt is really getting the raves.
Wow...so many different projects. You certainly like diversity. Your Baltimore Album quilt is exquisite!
