Yvonne's PHDs - Part 1

Hello there!
I signed up for the PHD challenge Dec 9 - ta da all of a sudden it's Dec. 30! This is sooo typical of me - procrastinate 'til the last second...all this will change in the new year...this is about accountability right ?! Sorry this post is in 2 parts - looks like blogger will only allow these photos at the moment...
Clematis Applique Bag - from a workshop this fall - the applique is done - now to put it together.
Wedding Crasher Quilt - 3 crazy quilters briefly crashed a friend's daughter's wedding - just happened to be a quilt shop close by having a $5 / m sale - what could we do but buy 5 m to make a Five Yard Quilt - needs border etc.
Happy Jack - purchased as a kit Sept. 09 at Fargo quilt show - determined it will be ready for halloween 2011
Meadow Morning - This is the first quilt I pieced - started fall 2003 Tropical Delight - waiting to be quilted Part 2 to follow I hope...Yvonne aka northernknitter

Okay, what is a Five Yard Quilt??

NO!!! Don't tell me!!! Just leave that question alone!! Wait - yes, you can tell me, but let's wait until DECEMBER 2011!!!! Then I won't be temted to start a 'fast project' - because in my house, it just doesn't happen!!

Everytime I come on here to see what people are up to, something reminds me of another project I have here that I haven't written down....... And I have not gone through my room yet to see what I want to do for this challenge! So, thanks for the reminder, I will write it on my paper so I can/will keep track!! (I love Halloween things and yours made me think of the kit I have waiting for me to do...... It will just have to wait a bit longer!)

Love your projects!! Nice variety! And I think that the Meadow Morning will be perfect for you to be curled under in the spring while you sit outside!! {hint, hint!! ;-)}
Have a great day, and Happy New Year!!

I like your Wedding Crasher Quilt, especially love the story and the name, but the quilt is cute too!

I'm ready for Dec 31st 2010, but I also realize that June 30th 2011 is going to come really fast!

Those are all great projects to finish. I keep hearing about the Fargo show from Darcie. looks like a great project. I'd love that one, too.
