I am Lisa, I am the mother to two little girls, R is 4 1/2 and H is 15...16 months! Holy smokes! It's going too fast! I also work very close to full time at Starbucks, usually at 5am for all those crazy people who need a cup of coffee but get up before the crack of dawn. I have a blog that combines stories of the girls and quilting (and a little of everything else going on in my life), feel free to check it out here
I was in Myra's PHD challenge last year, and I finished 10 projects (almost 11 hopefully 11 by the end of the year) and most of those were during the 6 month challenge. I think it was 8 or 9 during the challenge. I finished everything I had committed to even though it meant pulling a few long nights those last few days!
My camera works off and on, right now it's on strike, I have one picture for you for now, but the top is done. Oh yeah, all the projects I am committing to are finished tops but need quilting and binding.

I have SO many more ideas for tops, fabric bought already, and some even started but that's the easy and fun part for me, the quilting is the part that I struggle with (and can't afford to send off to someone else for) so being held accountable here really helps!

Wow Lisa thats an amazing effort! And with two little ones also ! Well done, i think you will be the winner of this challenge!
I don't think there will be a "loser" in the bunch, we all get to cross off projects and move onto something new! I am sort of taking the easy way out not committing to some tops I have started but have set aside until later.
I hope you can get through your whole list so you can start on your other ideas. Is that going to be your reward for getting the whole list done?
Your list looks like mine (lol). Best of luck on getting everything finished!

Hi Lisa,
If you work at Starbucks you're my new best friend. I love coffee.
I also struggle with the quilting part of the process since I tend to love making quilt tops much more than the rest of the process!
I'm really looking forward to seeing how your projects turn out.
Love Kate's comment about rewarding yourself by starting another quilt! I like rewards too much. Hope your camera starts behaving itself...looking forward to pictures.
Hi Lisa!
I look forward to "seeing" this quilt when finished... as I sure do hope you get a new camera for Christmas! I believe you had the "problem camera" for the last PhD you played along in...
