My first commitment is to quilt and bind the medalion quilt that I started earlier this year following Bloomin' Workshop's Medallion quilt along. I started a year late after everybody else had finished but loved the challenge and showed myself that I am actually capable of something a bit more complicated. I stopped at 11 rounds, having swapped a few later ones from the pattern, as I wanted a standard 6ft bed topper size. Unfortunately, every time I tried to take a picture Angel decided to dive from a great height and get into the picture but I will try not to sew her into the design. I started hand quilting on Boxing day with free-hand trefoils and am about 2/3rd of the way so hope to be in a position to bind in another week.
I am shocked at how many PhD's I actually have as I have only been quilting sincce October 2009 when I needed some therapy after a long illness. I also took part in two quilt-alongs but the blocks are still in a pile so my commitment may increase depending on how I get on with these three.

Great projects! I love the blocks in project #2! Will look forward to seeing this one finished!
That medallion quilt is beautiful! And the cat just makes the day!
I am so glad you are with us!!! And I love your projects!! Everytime I see what other people have done and are doing, it just makes me feel energized and I want to get busy (which is why I have so many UFO's!!)
I am glad you are feeling better and have taken the creative edge of sewing to stay busy!! But, quilting is an addiction in itself, so that is why and how you end up with so many things on the go!!
Have fun getting these to comletion!
