It's been raining continually in this part of the world, so what to do but get on with my PhD list - first one off the block is Scrappy Sister's Choice
I can't tell you how many times I nearly binned these blocks as they looked just dreadful standing alone, but now I'm glad I didn't as the quilt looks pretty good in real life ! Next on the list is the Pineapple top but I'm still struggling with how to quilt it - any ideas anyone ???

A quilt isnt done until it's quilted and you never really know how it'll look until it's finished. (or so Im told and it's certainly held true for me!)
Your finished quilt is gorgeous. Congratulations Ann!
Glad you didn't ditch these, this quilt looks great! Love the colors. Sometimes a quilt just doesn't "gel" until it's done. Kudos on a finish!
well done! as for the pineapple one, i would go simple as it looks great so maybe just follow your straight seams?
I love stars and this one is fabulous!! Great finish.
I agree with Shay...tops look nice, but finished quilts take on their own personality, and usually surprise even its' creator....very nice, BTW
Your quilt is wonderful. I am so glad you did not toss it in the bin.
Your quilt is absolutely lovely!
Somehow, what we think are unattractive blocks, just seem to shine once united with all the blocks to make a whole!!!
A job well done!!! NEXT! 8-)
Happy stitchings!

Oh WOW! I love it! Congrats on getting it done! You've given me inspiration. I have some 9-patches that I didn't know what to do with...well think I know now. It's a beautiful quilt!
That is my all-time-favorite block, and yours looks super. Something curvy on the pineapple.
