Here's my first PhD project :)

I have a stack of SEVEN (eeeek!) scrap quilt tops stashed in my craft room - when finished they'll be donated to a local shelter, but they're certainly not keeping anyone warm while they're in my cabinet! These will be very simple quilts - the blocks were made with scraps and stash fabrics - nothing fancy. I'm planning on birthing all the quilts with polar fleece backing, and then tying them with floss and buttons (hopefully I can make a dent in my button stash while I'm PhD destashing, lol). Here's the first quilt I'll be working on - it will measure 54" x 72" when finished :)

Thanks, Myra, for doing this wonderful challenge - I hope we get a LOT accomplished in the next 6 months!
