One down, 6 to go :)

Yesterday I finished the first of my 7 PhD scrap quilts - here it is on the couch with our oldest son's girlfriend hiding under it, while the cat looks on, lol.  It measures 54X72", and is backed with turquoise blue fleece.  It's just a simple throw, tied in the intersections with blue buttons.  It will be going to a local shelter here in town, so hopefully someone will be snuggling under it within the next few days :)

Thanks for the inspiration, Myra --- I'm already working on PhD #2!

It's beautiful! Great job! I love the tied buttons and using fleece for backing. It would be so warm and comforting. It's sure to be enjoyed and appreciated.
